In December 2018, Cranson Capital investors closed on a $5.2 million investment in the 1569 Simcoe Street North Limited Partnership. The LP has entered into a Development Management Agreement with Podium Developments to build a community of 125 townhomes on the site just south of Highway 407. The development is on an 11.5-acre site with the townhomes occupying 4.5 acres and the remaining 7 acres preserved as protected greenspace and private park space, including community gardens, a playground, a sports field, and an off-leash dog park for the exclusive use of residents to enjoy. The townhomes feature either 3 or 4 bedrooms, 2-car parking, and a rooftop terrace or backyard with deck.

Construction on the project began in the fall of 2020 and is expected to reach completion in summer 2022.
