In August of 2013, Cranson Capital raised and invested $28M in the Yonge-Yorkville-Cumberland Fund for Plaza to develop a 58-storey condo in Toronto’s iconic Yorkville neighbourhood. The Yorkville area is considered to be one of Canada’s most exclusive shopping and dining districts with several 5-star restaurants and many high-end retail businesses within walking distance of the development. The funds were used for land purchase, soft costs, zoning, sales programs, and fees. Construction on 1 Yorkville began in 2014 and reached completion in February of 2021.
